A great variety for breakfast, pretty much anything you could want and all very good and well presented, the coffee was perfect and plentiful. We ate on the terrace with views of the city just over the river, a five to ten minutes walk and you are in the city. The location was perfect for wandering either in its neighbourhood or in the city and close enough to walk to all the main attractions. We walked over at night after a lovely meal near the hotel and it was very pretty with all the little lights. The hotel rooms are very nice and we were lucky enough to get an upgrade to one of the recently renovated rooms which was spacious and fab bathroom.

The hotel is located in a historic house in the old town, so it is very cozy and nice to stay there. And the rooms themselves are quite modern, which makes your stay even more pleasant. The location is quite convenient, you can walk to the center of the old town in 15-20 minutes.

Key selling point is the location overlooking River Arno and towards the historic centre, roughly 5-10 minutes walk to the main attractions, also close to the Boboli gardens and Oltrarno quarter. The staff were always friendly and professional, and we had a lovely surprise on arrival to find our room had been upgraded with views of the river and old town. The hotel interior is a quirky mix of traditional and modern outfitting, with a large terrace overlooking the river,and the rooms are faultlessly clean and comfortable. Silla is rated 3-star but it is easily 4-star standard in our opinion and great value for money!

I had a wonderful stay at Hotel Silla in Florence. The location is perfect, just a short walk from major attractions. The staff was friendly and helpful, making check-in easy. My room was clean and comfortable. The breakfast was delicious with a good variety of options. The rooftop terrace offered stunning views of the city. I highly recommend Hotel Silla for a great stay in Florence.

The location was the best feature. The city center in Florence is very busy, being located across the Arno river was so nice. Right behind the hotel was a quaint neighborhood with shops and restaurants in residential. This was the Italian experience we desired. Would highly recommend Breakfast was very good and had a great terrace for eating or cocktail

The mix of old and new. The traditional shared spaces and the modern comfortable rooms. The staff were lovely - especially one of the ladies on the front reception desk and one of the ladies at breakfast - but all were really friendly and helpful.

What an excellent hotel. Comfortable room, excellent breakfast facilities. We absolutely loved the location of this hotel! Far enough away to escape the hustle and bustle of the central tourist areas but close enough to walk everywhere we wanted to within 5-15 minutes. Staff were always friendly and accomodating.

The location is good ; only 5 min from ponte vecchio and 10 min from plazza vecchio. The staff is very nice and helpful, they speak 3 languages (Italiano, English, Frrançais). The room is AWESOME, the bed (king size) is so comfortable. The bathroom is spacious. Finally, the breakfast is perfect ; full, lot of choice and great quality.

We loved the Hotel Silla. It’s in a great location, over the river and away from the busy centre but walking distance to most of the places we wanted to go to. Our room was big and clean, with a really comfy bed and fantastic air conditioning. Staff were really friendly and helpful. Breakfast was good too and the real honeycomb was an unusual treat. The big terrace is another bonus. Good bars and restaurants in the vicinity.
